Pragash Murugesan is an engineer from Perth, working at the intersection of technology and mining operations. He currently works at Rio Tinto, where he leads projects focused on improving safety, reliability, and operational performance through the application of digital technologies. Over five years in the industry, he has contributed to high-impact initiatives, including renewable energy developments, autonomous systems, and processing plant optimisation. Alongside his professional work, Pragash has volunteered with Engineers Without Borders Australia, holding leadership roles and contributing to initiatives in humanitarian engineering and sustainable development.
