Michael Connors is from Brisbane and holds a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium, and a Graduate Diploma of Education in Teaching from Griffith University. An accomplished musician, Michael has toured the U.S., South America, Europe, and Asia, performing on board Royal Caribbean and Azamara Club Cruises. In 2016, Michael relocated to Sydney and accepted the role of Music Director at Cammeray Public School. In 2021 he was honoured with a North Sydney Community Award ‘In Recognition of Outstanding Service to the Community’ for directing the North Shore Community Band. With his St John’s College, Annapolis, Ramsay Postgraduate Scholarship, Michael will undertake the College’s renowned two-year Master of Arts in the Liberal Arts (MALA) degree and will be mentored to secure and participate in an internship in Washington DC. Michael hopes to contribute to organisations which advocate for Western Civilisation through education and research and intends to establish such organisations within Australia.
